To further strengthen the fire safety management of the enterprise and enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all employees, Zhongbang (Lanzhou) Cable Group successfully held the first half of 2024 fire safety training and practical drills on May 17. This activity is an important part of the company's annual safety plan, aiming to further consolidate the fire safety knowledge of all employees and enhance their adaptability and self-rescue and mutual rescue skills in emergency situations.
At 9 a.m., the training officially kicked off in the company's multi-function hall, with a special invitation to a senior instructor from the Zheng'an Zhidun Fire Control Center for on-site teaching. Through vivid case studies, video demonstrations, and interactive Q&A sessions, the instructor explained in a simple and profound manner the basic principles of fire prevention, methods for extinguishing initial-stage fires, fire escape techniques, and the correct use of various fire-fighting equipment. During the training, employees actively participated, and the on-site atmosphere was both lively and solemn, fully demonstrating the company's entire staff's high attention to fire safety.
At 10 a.m., the theoretical learning was translated into practical operations, and all participants moved to the company's pre-set safety drill area. Employees conducted hands-on exercises in groups on subjects such as fire extinguisher use and fire hydrant operation drills. In a smoke-filled simulated environment and under the guidance of professionals, everyone personally operated fire extinguishers to put out simulated fire sources, experiencing the entire process from discovering a fire to successfully controlling the fire, which greatly enhanced their practical operation capabilities and confidence in dealing with fires. The entire process was orderly, effectively testing the feasibility of the emergency response plan and the emergency response speed of employees.
After the drill, Jin Sai, General Manager of Zhongbang (Lanzhou) Cable Group, delivered a concluding speech on the event, emphasizing the importance of fire safety in daily work and the safety role played by each employee in their daily duties.
