On November 21, 2024, Zhongbang (Lanzhou) Cable Group held a fire safety training and drill for the second half of 2024 to enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of its employees in fire extinguishing, evacuation, self-rescue, and daily fire safety. This event aims to build a solid "firewall" of fire safety, ensuring that every employee can master basic fire knowledge and skills, providing strong support for the company's safe production.
Before the fire drill training, General Manager Jin Sai gave a speech: Today's fire drill training is not a formality, but a crucial measure concerning the life safety of each of us and the property safety of the company. Through this training, we will learn fire safety knowledge in depth, master the use of fire-fighting equipment, and clearly understand the emergency escape procedures in case of fire. Prevention comes first, and we will enhance our fire safety awareness. Every colleague should participate with the most serious attitude and enthusiasm, deeply imprinting the learned fire safety knowledge and skills in their hearts and integrating them into their daily work and life.
This training and drill activity was divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge explanation and practical drills. In the theoretical knowledge explanation session, Instructor Song Haibing from Gansu Zhengxuan Shield Fire Safety Propaganda Center was specially invited to give a lecture. Combining typical fire accidents that have occurred in recent years and the characteristics of production-type enterprises, Instructor Song deeply analyzed the causes, hazards, and serious consequences of fires, emphasizing the prevention and response to electrical fires, as well as the storage and management regulations of flammable materials. This allowed employees to deeply understand the importance and urgency of fire safety in daily work. The lecture focused on fire prevention, initial fire fighting, and fire scene escape and self-rescue, and detailed the use and precautions of various fire-fighting equipment.
In order to allow employees to have a more intuitive understanding of the use of fire-fighting equipment and the fire emergency handling process, the activity arranged a practical drill session. In the company's parking lot, employees arrived at the scene in an orderly manner according to the drill plan and conducted practical drills on fire escape and self-rescue and the use of fire-fighting equipment. Instructor Song provided on-site guidance and command, ensuring that every employee could master the essentials of using fire extinguishers and the basic methods of fire escape. The entire drill process was well-organized, with clear division of labor and close cooperation, efficiently completing all drill tasks and achieving the expected results.
After the drill, Production Supervisor Liu Yixing summarized and commented on the event. This fire drill was a successful practice. Through the drill, we achieved our goals and obtained good results. At the same time, we also recognized the existing problems and shortcomings. In future work, we will take this drill as an opportunity to further strengthen fire safety management, continuously improve fire emergency plans, strengthen employee fire safety training and education, and improve employees' fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities to ensure the company's safe production and the safety of employees' lives and property.
The successful holding of this training and drill activity further improved the company's fire safety management level and laid a solid foundation for the company's steady development.
