Safe Development, Prevention First - Zhongbang (Lanzhou) Cable Group Successfully Completes 2023 First-Half Fire Training and Drills
May 12,2023
To strengthen daily safety work and improve the safety and fire prevention quality, as well as the self-rescue capabilities of all staff, on May 11, Zhongbang (Lanzhou) Cable Group, in conjunction with the Zheng'an Fire Prevention Knowledge Publicity Center, held a fire emergency safety drill themed "Safe Development, Prevention First." Participants included new employees from the Spring 2023 recruitment, key employees who frequently encounter fire hazards, and all security department employees.
Before the drill, the security department, based on daily work practices, meticulously developed a drill plan, clarifying responsibilities and requirements. At 2 PM in the Zhongbang (Lanzhou) Cable Group multi-function hall, Instructor Zhang Fentong provided fire safety training, covering daily fire safety procedures and the use of fire-fighting equipment. The training effectively supplemented essential knowledge gaps in fire safety.
At 3 PM, the on-site fire drill officially began. Following the drill plan, participants arrived at the drill site, where Instructor Zhang provided detailed instructions on using fire extinguishers. The security department lit a pre-prepared fire, and participants took turns using fire extinguishers in a simulated scenario. Most participants were able to correctly use the fire extinguishers.
Finally, Jin Sai, General Manager of Zhongbang (Lanzhou) Cable Group, summarized the drill. The drill demonstrated a high level of attention to detail and thorough planning from staff at all levels. The training successfully enabled new employees and key personnel to understand fire safety knowledge and master the use of fire extinguishers, achieving its learning objectives. Going forward, we hope everyone will continue to learn about fire safety, eliminate fire hazards, improve fire safety awareness, and respond calmly and effectively to emergencies. Let's work together to ensure fire safety is implemented in our daily work and lives, creating a safe and healthy environment.
